Thank you for making an appointment with Adelaide Eye Surgeons. In order for us to provide you with the the best service, we ask you to please bring the following with you:

• A current referral from your doctor or optometrist
• Your current spectacles/contact lenses
• A list of all your medications/allergies
• Your medicare card
• Your private health insurance details
• Sunglasses
• We recommend that you have someone drive you on the day as your vision may be blurred from dilating eye drops
• Please allow approximately 1-2 hours for your consultation.

You will have a comprehensive eye exam and depending on the nature of the condition you may need to have dilating eye drops to allow a thorough assessment of your eyes. We utilise the latest technologies in imaging and diagnosing eye conditions which you may require to have on the day.

We have fully-equipped procedural rooms on all our sites where we will be able to perform intravitreal injections and certain eyelid surgeries. All laser treatments are also performed on site.

Surgical procedures such as cataract surgery are performed at day hospitals and we will be able to provide you with a full estimation of the costs.
